What is Google Instant Google Instant is Google’s latest technology that is geared towards decreasing search time for users. In order to understand Google Instant, let’s first describe the search process we’re all familiar with. Currently, users type their search phrase into Google’s search bar, hit return, and then wait for the results to load. Google Instant will instead show results while the user is still typing the search phrase. According to Google, Google Instant will have 3 major benefits: 1) Faster Searches 2) Smarter Predictions and 3) Instant Results Why So... 

A few weeks ago I was conversing with a friend and colleague who is a content producer and publisher for his organization’s online community. Several months ago he began focusing their Facebook strategy to make sure the interaction was fostering a real sense of community. During our discussion he said the early stages of gaining facebook friends / fans / followers and developing interaction was almost like taking care of a young baby. C.F. Hathaway In 1951, C.F. Hathaway was a small shirt company in Waterville, Maine that had never advertised and was not widely known.  However, Hathaway’s status in the market was about to change forever.
